Super fun science experiments include:
1) Fishing for Ice
2) Germination & Sprouting Seeds
3) Clouds and Making Cloud Dough
4) Chemistry Behind Bath Bombs!
Join me in these fun hands-on lessons where I will provide step-by-step instructions for completing our science experiments. Each week we will gather supplies, print our official science journals and practice the scientific method. Each lesson there are some simplified key terms that will cover with a hands-on approach. There is a team quiz at the end of this course covering all of the key terms covered during our 4 weeks together. Learners can compete for a top spot on the leaderboard by taking the quiz as many times as they'd like. Homework assignments include, sharing pictures of their completed science journals.
WEEK ONE: Germination and Sprouting Seeds - We will be observing our sprouting seeds over the course of about one week. Learn about the parts of a seed, the difference between a root and shoot and even eat some tasty fresh vegetables!
WEEK TWO: Fishing For Ice - Let's talk about the states of matter, how salt affects temperature and what can or can't dissolve. Have fun trying to catch as many ice cubes as you can with only a string!
WEEK THREE: Clouds and Cloud Dough - Learn about the water cycle, three main types of clouds and make cloud dough!
WEEK FOUR: Chemistry Behind Bath Bombs - Have fun learning about neutralization while making bath bombs out of three simple ingredients.
There are no live classes. If you're interested in live classes, you will enjoy my weekly science classes!
