Many middle schoolers and teens never learned cursive — or have forgotten it. As a homeschooling parent, you may notice sloppy or uneven handwriting and wish your child could write neatly and confidently again. Yet most programs feel too childish or don’t fit older learners’ needs.
Without cursive, students miss more than pretty handwriting — they lose a vital connection to history and literacy. Key U.S. documents like the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were written in cursive, and being unable to read them firsthand cuts students off from their heritage. Cursive also strengthens brain development, fine-motor control, and reading comprehension — skills typing can’t replace.
Cursive Writing for Middle School & Teens helps older learners rediscover the art and value of cursive through clear, age-appropriate lessons and practice.
Designed for teens, not elementary students — mature style and pacing.
Self-paced, easy to fit into any homeschool schedule.
Builds confidence, fluency, and a sense of pride in written communication.

By the end, your teen will write faster, neater, and more confidently — gaining not just a useful skill, but a lasting link to our nation’s story and the power of the written word.
