Learners will follow a gripping story and answer questions along the way to help save lives. Includes 5 virtual games, online reading comprehension quizzes and online word searches with medical terminology. Using GoogleSlides, learners will follow a camping story adventure as they solve a variety of math problems on each slide. Click the correct answer, and you will progress to the next page. Click the wrong answer and you'll get a disastrous warning and a chance to try again. Each game includes 20+ first grade math problems. After completing each level, learners can take a reading comprehension quiz to answer questions about the story. They can retake the quiz as many times as they like in order to earn a top spot on the leaderboard. Each lesson will take about 20-30 minutes for learners to complete.
Homework: Learners must share screenshots of their completed virtual escape room games each week in order to receive the final 5th bonus level!
Learners will only get to this level if they share screenshots of their completed previous four levels. Remember, this is a "flex" style course which means there are no live classes. Instead, lessons will be released once per week for learners to complete independently on a day/time that is convenient for them. Each week, learners will receive a GoogleSlide link to the digital escape room game and a Kahoot reading comprehension quiz link. Learners can play the games and take the quizzes as many times as they like. No account or personal information is required in order to play the games or take the quizzes.
